1. Q: Do I need a broker to trade?

A: Yes, however today all you need is an online broker, which allows you to do your own research, place and monitor the trades. We have a few brokers you may consider.

2. Q: How much time is required to be a good trader?

A: This answer is different for everyone, however with the proper balance of discipline, education and drive, you can move down the road quickly. Most of the time is dedicated upfront to developing a learning curve. You will move from novice, to intermediate and then to advanced. I would suggest you plan to put in 15 hours a week in the beginning and then over time you will find that 7-10 hours a week will suffice. This time should be consistent on a weekly basis as you are running a trading business.

3. Q: With so many options to trade, what should i start with: stocks, options or currency?

A: It is critical to build a proper foundation of technical analysis to trade any of the mentioned instruments. You need to decide what is right for you. Serene Investor will teach you proper risk management, entry and stop loss techniques for you to master trading on any or all of the instruments. Once you know how to trade, then you can move within asset classes to find your niche.

4. Q: How much do I need to start trading with?

A: Every broker is different, however the average person starts with $2,000 -$10,000 in their brokerage account. Then you need to ensure you have money for education and tools. The most important aspect is education. Plan to spend at least $5,000-$10,000 in education, and then you choose the tools that meet your objectives. Remember, this is a business, and there are start-up costs. It will do you little good to put your money in a brokerage account and go attempt to trade without proper education, study and utilization of a trading plan. Doing this is gambling and not trading like a professional. It is much better to learn the skills to aquire money than to TRY to make money with hope.

5. Q: What makes Serene Investor different than other seminar companies?

A: First and foremost, we really care about your success. The nuts and bolts are we teach you using more powerful methods called ALM, we have real hands-on webinars and LIVE events. We have smaller events to allow you to not only learn quicker but retain the information. Serene Investor is a team of traders who trade the markets and teach others from time to time. We are not an infomercial seminar company, and our objective is not to be a huge seminar company running students though mass seminars teaching little and selling a lot. Our focus is to take a handful of serious students and walk with them and teach them how to trade. We build relationships with our clients. You are not the masses but a friend and partner. We don't slam you with overwhelming lectures, but we instead have a hands-on interactive approach that allows you to work in teams with other like-minded traders to not only learn quicker, but to retain the information. We have consulted with a specialist in ALM (Adult Learning Methods) to ensure you not only learn in the best ways, but have the best possible strategies and risk management taught to you by traders and not seminar speakers.

6. Q: What are the Wealth Networks?

A: These are alliances and 3rd party opportunites where we invest our personal money to build profits. We are selective where we invest and we connect you with these opportunities for you to do your due diligence. These opportunites are in gas projects, oil, real estate and others. It gives you a chance to invest your money alongside ours in projects. Please NOTE: Serene Investor DOES NOT sell any type of investment. These opportunites come via 3rd party connections and although we have our own money invested in these opportunites, we encourage you to do YOUR OWN DUE DILIGENCE.

7. Q: If you are traders, why are you teaching?

A: I can say this: We all have passions and gifts, and although I started out wanting to make money, along the way i realized that the greatest wealth is in giving back, making a difference and changing lives. Yes, we do charge for our program, time, events etc. as there AIN'T NO FREE LUNCH, however I really find great value out of teaching others and getting the great emails of success. When I get an email from a 16 year old in Africa who attended the workshop and he says his friends are out playing but he is in study of the markets and he will NOT be poor like his family, that makes it worth it. There are many reasons we do this, and I hope to talk to you one-on-one about them.
