How much time do I need to be a successful stock or options trader?
This answer is different for everyone, however with the proper balance of discipline, education and drive, you can move down the road quickly. Most of the time is dedicated upfront to developing your learning curve. You will move from a novice to intermediate and into advanced. I would suggest you plan to put an at least five hours per week and it’s recommended up to 15 hours per week in the beginning. However, if you want to trade on a daily basis you will need to put in about 30 hours per week. When I started, I worked two jobs and put in my time learning to trade in between those jobs. As I got better and made more money I spent more focused time trading. You must treat this like a business and not a hobby, businesses produce profits and hobbies cost money.
Do I need an online stockbroker?
You do need a broker, and it’s recommended that you use an online broker, however any broker will do. Today, online brokers allow you to trade from anywhere in the world and it levels the playing field, allowing you to profit through quick and easy research, trade execution, and fast fills on your orders. There are many online brokers out there, it’s important you choose a good one, with a great reputation.
With so many instruments to trade, where should I start, stocks, options were currency?
It’s critical to build a proper foundation of technical analysis prior to trading any of the above instruments mentioned. You need to decide what is right for you. Serene Investor will teach you technical analysis, proper risk management, trade management, stock trading, and the options. Once you know how to trade and manage risk you can trade any financial instrument. You will find what resonates with you.
How much money do I need to start trading with?
There is no specific amount of money that anyone should start with. Some have started with very little while others have started with a great deal of money. I personally started with less than $3000, and grew the accounts into a large sum. It is suggested that you do have at least $2000-$5000 to start with. If you don’t, don’t get discouraged spend your time in study and learning of the markets while saving your capital preparing to open an account. Use the time to practice trading without real money, and then when you’re ready and have the money to start, you have worked out your bugs and issues.
What makes trading with Serene Investor different than other financial education companies?
First and foremost, we really care about your success. I spent 13 years traveling the world teaching for the other seminar companies. I found the majority are not teaching effective strategy, technique, or risk management. The model they use is not the most effective for adult learning. If you trade the financial markets, then why do you teach?
This is a great question, and one that should be asked of every instructor took out there. There are many reasons that I teach; first of all it’s in my blood. I have taught in different capacities since I was a teenager. I love to teach, interact, inspire, motivate, educate and push you so that you become better. I also learned in my teenage years, as a martial arts instructor that when I instructed, I learned a great deal more from a different perspective allowing a greater overall knowledge. You will see in our free chat room that I am placing trades right there with you.
How do I subscribe to your free interactive trading community?

Will I be obligated to purchase anything from serene investor?
There is no obligation was Serene Investor, you’ll start to see that we give tremendous content for free that others charge thousands of dollars for. We do have products ranging from $10 up to several thousand dollars that are available for purchase. It is up to you if you wish to purchase and gain more education. I urge you to review the free information and content and should you see the value and decide you want full out education then you have the choice to purchase whatever program you desire. However you’re never obligated!!
What makes you credible in teaching the stock, and technical analysis strategies?
This is an excellent question, and the truth is from my experience most that I’ve learned from and many out there teaching now to be able to teach. Now, that is my opinion as an insider in the financial seminar industry. But the question about my credibility, I spent 13 years studying the financial markets, I have spent over $100,000 on my education and I have taken small amounts of money into large sums of money. I have lost hundreds of thousands of dollars, and learned of my mistakes. I trade on a consistent basis, typically every day. You will find there is no GURU, so don’t be fooled by those that say or act as if they are. We all are students of the market we all win and lose, and hopefully learn from both.
What if I’m brand-new to trading the stock market, will I gain value from the serene investor website?
Yes, we all start new and learn along the way. Join our interactive community and start to connect with the type of people that are goal oriented and focused on their trading business. Can I ask you questions in the free chat room?
I try to answer questions as much as possible in our free chat room, but remember ion trading and if a lot of people are asking me questions I cannot focus on my trades. In the chat room I will typically throw information out on stocks, setups, and ideas. You’re welcome to ask questions and if I don’t answer them perhaps other traders will. There are videos on the website that will help educate you.

Why would I purchase from Serene Investor instead of a large sum of seminar company like it Bettertrades, Optionetics, Investools or rich dad seminars?
This is a great question, and as an insider who has taught for some of these companies I can give you a clear answer. The majority of the big seminar companies have one goal in mind and that is to push as many people through their doors as humanly possible. Once they have you and one to 500 more people in a room the goal is to sell you packages from $3,000 upwards of $50,000.how can they ever really help you when they are teaching tens of thousands of people a year? The answer is simple; first we don’t have a theory out of classes costing upwards of $50,000. We have the education that you need to make money in the markets, nothing more nothing less. We also believe that you’re successful, not by hearing in a lecture room of the hundred to 500 people, but in a small group. We believe in teaching and chunks, and we are about building a family, a relationship with our clients. You are not a $ to Serene Investor, you are not the bottom line. We desire to build relationships, long-lasting relationships with our clients. We offer personalized service, utilization of adult learning methods, and relationships. What do you teach compared to the other trading seminar companies?
The standard seminar company will teach you for two days, or three days. They will throw in some meets along with a tremendous amount of sales to up-sell you into the next program. We teach without sales! Of course we are a company and we have to sell, but we believe in selling what you need to take you to the next level. We also believe that if we give you the meat that you paid for, you will come back to us if you desire more. We also do not overwhelm you with a tremendous amount of information so that you end up in great confusion. We teach you what you need to know to manage risk and profits in any market. Don’t think the more information that a company offers is better, in fact, a usually causes more confusion. We attempt to keep it simple and profitable. The main focus of the Serene Path Workshops is technical analysis, trade management, risk management, stock selection, entry and exit points, research, and tools of the trader, basic options, and unique power strategies.
We keep it simple because in my 13 years of trading, attending seminars, easing mentors, studying books and tapes and home study course. And training over 50,000 people around the world, I have found those that keep it simple, who go back to the basics, are the ones that are the most successful and spend the least amount of time. We don’t blow smoke!
How do your trainings compare to the big financial seminar companies?
This is very simple; we keep our programs small and intimate. We build relationships with our clients; we do not use the lecturer style teaching for the majority of our trainings. We believe in utilizing adult learning methods. Confucius said, “Tell me and I forget, show me and I remember, let me DO and I understand”. I spent over $100,000 being told how to trade, and forgot most of it. What we do is show you and then guides you as you do it. We are about interactive workshops and utilizing new concepts and techniques to help you gain the most retention well having a fun interactive time learning to trade the stock market. We also believe in connecting with the people in your group for support and accountability. We don’t hire young twenty something’s and call them coaches, when they are really salespeople. What is the serene path to success that you talk about?
The serene path is a unique path that we created in 2008, and was really based on the fact that most people in the stock market are stressed, agitated, fearful, and frustrated. We wanted to create a path where you can trade your money, protect your money in any market, learned a profit with low stress and lower risk and do so in a more personalized environment creating a network of successful traders. What is your ultimate goal as a company?
Our goal is threefold, first and foremost to deliver to our clients, you, the best quality education on trading the financial markets that we possibly can. To give our clients a foundation of financial literacy did they can stand on regardless of the economy, regardless of the markets, and regardless of whether they have a job or not. We want them to take care of their family and have the skill set to do so no matter what. Why do all the seminar companies talk about the success and never the losses?
This is a fantastic question, but a question that I think you will find logical. The sales process but the financial seminar companies use is one of selling you the dream, that’s right the dream. It would be hard to get you to lay your money on the table telling you that you might lose a lot of money especially with the lack of support that you get with most seminar companies the odds are greatly in the favor of you losing. The majority of financial seminar attendees lose and lose big. They end up quitting, and they end up frustrated. We a Serene Investor will NOT pretend that we will not lose or that you will not lose. Loosing is just as important as winning, when you get this you will be a great trader. It’s in our losses that we learn the most, and the biggest losers if they learn become the biggest winners. We don’t think success is the greatest part of trading, we think learning to master yourself, your emotions, and your thoughts are the key. We utilize a free interactive trading community, small chunk of videos breaking education down to a simple elementary level. We use webinars and online web classes for interactive training allowing people anywhere in the world to attend. In our live SERENE PATH workshop we utilize interactive small-group training utilizing exercises, role-play, and techniques that adults find more effective in their learning process. Are you going to up sell me products during the trainings?
We are not afraid of sales, for true ethical sales are needed. People love to buy; they just hate to be sold. If we feel you need more education we will share that with you, however we do that on our time in a special bonus session, or free event but we spend the time in your training educating you. We know we offer quality and when you experience it then you may desire more education were more products. We don’t want to force you to buy or coerce you to buy.
